Research and Development Cell – KMBB College of Engineering and Technology

The Research and Development (R&D) Cell at KMBB College of Engineering and Technology has been established to foster a culture of research, innovation, and continuous institutional development. Its primary mission is to encourage and support research initiatives in emerging technologies among faculty members and students by providing necessary resources such as laboratories, platforms, tools, and funding for academic and research activities.

The Cell actively formulates strategies to enhance faculty participation in research, aiming to increase the quality and quantity of scholarly publications. It also oversees infrastructure development, resource creation, and effective management to support these goals.

Looking ahead, the college plans to collaborate with various industries and institutions to secure project sponsorships and establish Centers of Excellence that will further drive innovation and research excellence.

Objectives of the R&D Cell:

1. Establish research laboratories and centers equipped with essential tools and resources.
2. Foster collaborations and sign MoUs with research organizations and funding agencies.
3. Organize seminars, Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), and conferences.
4. Develop and upgrade institutional infrastructure to support research activities.
5. Promote a strong research culture among faculty and students, encouraging publication and active participation in research initiatives.
