The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) at KMBB College of Engineering and Technology is dedicated to fostering a spirit of innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship among students. Established with the vision of encouraging self-employment and start-up culture, the EDC acts as a catalyst in transforming students’ innovative ideas into viable business ventures.

The cell aims to bridge the gap between academics and industry by nurturing entrepreneurial skills and providing students with the necessary support, resources, and mentorship. It serves as a platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to gain knowledge about business planning, market analysis, financial management, and legal compliance, among other critical areas.

Objectives of the EDC:

  1. To instill entrepreneurial mindset and promote innovation among students.
  2. To provide training, guidance, and mentoring for business idea development and execution.
  3. To conduct workshops, seminars, and startup boot camps on entrepreneurship and related domains.
  4. To create awareness about government schemes and funding opportunities for start-ups.
  5. To collaborate with industry leaders, incubators, and successful entrepreneurs for knowledge sharing and networking.
  6. To support students in preparing business plans and pitching to potential investors.
