KMBB College of Engineering and Technology has developed an innovative technology of brick-making. In collaboration with CTTC, the technology was successfully applied in making cheap and pollution free clay bricks from any type of soil with high pressure. The bricks can be made and used without applying any adhesive. Dr. Dhanadakanta Mishra pioneered this technology with active support from Prof. Subhakanta Barik of Civil Engineering Department. It is heartening to note that KMBB College will be awarded from the ‘Youth Innovation Fund’ and honoured by the Chief Minister.
